Judith Evans has worked for nearly 20 years as a journalist, holding positions at the Washington Post, New York Newsday, and the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle. More recently, she has worked as a public relations consultant for government and nonprofit organizations. She developed and carried out media campaigns for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the American Psychological Association to raise mental health awareness among children and underserved African-American, Asian and Hispanic communities. Her work on the 2008 National Children’s Mental Health Week garnered coverage in the Washington Post and the Washington Times.
Evans graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and American literature from George Washington University.
